When spring arrives with blooming flowers, the land becomes a paradise. Recently, the Liangdu Mijinjin Winter Peach Base in Alehe Village, Baohua Town, Zhongshan District, has entered "the most romantic season" of the year. Hundreds of mu of peach blossoms bloom successively, complementing the Alehe River to present a picturesque scene of "under lush mountains, by the riverside, in a sea of flowers, and amidst fruit fragrance," which attracts crowds of visitors to stroll among the blossoms and embrace the beautiful scenery of spring.
In April, Alehe Village embraces the splendor of spring, with delicate pink and white peach blossoms glowing like rosy clouds. There, rows of winter peach trees are full of red flowers, and the peach blossoms covering the hillsides are as brilliant as morning glow. In the peach garden, pink peach blossoms are charming, adorning the branches with clusters. When a breeze blows, the petals fall gently like a romantic shower of flowers. Visitors stroll through the sea of flowers, stop to admire the view, or take pictures, with laughter echoing in every corner of the peach garden.
"We came here in a group with several friends and spent the whole morning taking photos. It's truly beautiful!" exclaimed Teng Li, a visitor from near the Shuicheng County.
Li Wu, Head of the Liangdu Mijinjin Winter Peach Base, said, "We can utilize flowers as a medium but not limited to them. To extend the industrial chain of 'flower appreciation economy,' we will expand a series of sightseeing and leisure experience activities including tourism + spring outings and photography, allowing for seamless integration between the 'flower appreciation economy' and rural tourism, and further advancing the integration of agriculture and tourism."
In recent years, Baohua Town has actively explored new modes of rural tourism, adopting a development model of "party building + rural tourism + characteristic agriculture." By developing the peach industry based on local conditions, and fostering a diversified "peach" economy combining flower appreciation, fruit picking, and leisure experiences, the increased efficiency and profitability of eco-friendly leisure and sightseeing agriculture have been achieved, thus contributing to rural revitalization.
"The winter peach industry is a characteristic pillar industry for boosting agricultural efficiency and increasing farmers' income in Baohua Town. Every year, when the peach blossoms bloom, people from the surrounding areas of the county come here to take photos for memories, which not only enhances the popularity of our village's winter peach but also attracts a certain amount of visitor traffic. Next, Baohua Town will take the winter peach base as the core, to deepen the 'integration of the three industries,' extend the industrial chain, and create a modern agricultural demonstration site integrating ecological planting and picking experience. Moreover, we will plan and organize the 'Peach Blossom Festival,' leverage the 'peach blossom economy' to achieve a double harvest for both the winter peach industry and rural tourism, and further promote the 'Baohua Winter Peach' brand, aiming to enable more farmers to benefit from the industrial development and inject stronger momentum into rural revitalization," said Luo Binyin, Deputy Town Mayor of Baohua Town.
